Job Title: Fire Protection Engineer

Location: Belleville, NJ

Salary: $70,000 – $110,000 per year

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Belleville, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire protection systems, safety engineering, and system design. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure life safety and compliance with fire codes and standards.

Responsibilities:

  •  Apply fire protection engineering principles and practices to system design 
  •  Ensure compliance with fire safety and life safety standards 
  •  Design, evaluate, and maintain fire suppression systems and related safety technologies 
  •  Use CAD software and fire simulation tools for system planning and analysis 
  •  Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders 
  •  Solve complex engineering challenges and provide analytical solutions 
Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 
  •  Proficiency in fire protection engineering principles and practices 
  •  Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards 
  •  Experience with fire suppression systems and safety technologies 
  •  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
  •  Proficiency in CAD software and fire simulation tools 
  •  Effective communication and teamwork skills 
  • Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) certification in fire protection
