Role Overview:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Ensures safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production systems through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Ensures safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production systems through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and injection molding equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- Install, set up, and tune new molding machines and related systems
- Use hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical repairs
- Follow technical drawings, manuals, and safety procedures
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and conserve maintenance resources
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an industrial or maintenance mechanic
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work overtime or weekends as needed
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
